How To Sign Up With Basingstoke Writers' Circle

If you've paid your subs, you'll soon be receiving an invite to join the all-new Basingstoke Writers' Circle website.

Your invite will arrive at your email address and will look like this:

Simply "Click to Join" and you'll be taken to the registration page for the new site.

You'll need to type in your email address and choose a password. The form also asks for your date of birth, so everyone can say happy birthday when it's your day (no, seriously :-).

The last thing you'll need is the membership code. This will be written on the back of your membership card and is proof that you are allowed to add things to the website. You'll only need it when you register and please don't give it out to non-members!

Once you press the "Sign Up" button, you'll see this page:

Go back to your email and you should have a new message "Verify Your Email on Basingstoke Writers' Circle". If not, you can resend the email or change your email address on the website.

Click the link in your email or copy & paste it into your web browser.

The next page you see will say:

Put your name in the box and click "Join". Congratulations! Once a member of the committee has approved you, you'll be able to start adding things to the website.
