Exciting BWC Plans for 2012

The year starts with a workshop facilitated by poet in residency Andrew McMillan at the Feb (28th) BWC meeting. The following month, on March 27th, the BWC meeting will feature readings of member entries to this years Basingstoke Music and Arts Festival - creative writing competition. As well as the AGM. the April meeting will feature a first for the BWC a 'Literary Quiz' <I'm assured it wont be too taxing thank goodness> with prizes for the winners.

Ten Of Clubs

Midnight. Salzburg, Austria. At last, a refreshing change in the oppressive meterology that had caused the day to drone on in a haze of heat and discomfort. My zen-like state of calm was returning as the temperature dropped to a bearable level. BWC Poetry Open Mic Evening 2011

Get even more out of your welcoming South Ham Library by checking out the 2011 Open Mic annual poetry event, organised by the long established Basingstoke Writers' Circle.
